Eid-el-Kabir: EKEDC deploys staff for 24 hours Service delivery, Promises memorable, enjoyable feasts

 

Nigeria’s leading power utility firm, Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), has deployed staff for a 24/7 (round the clock) essential services, particularly to attend to the needs of customers in order to ensure a memorable and enjoyable Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

This, the utility firm that connects major parts of Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital to the grid said, became necessary at a time when the world is still battling to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

In a statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate Communications, Godwin Idemudia, EKEDC assured its customers that the Company will fulfil its obligation of providing constant electricity to all customers within its operational network during the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.

The Company also promised that there will be adequate power supply to add colour to this year’s Sallah celebrations. The statement further read “we are happy to provide all our customers with adequate electricity during this period of celebration. We however appeal to our customers to fulfil their obligation of paying their bills while we provide them with improved service delivery”.

Idemudia said “our staff will be on ground 24/7 to attend to the needs of our customers in order to ensure a memorable and enjoyable celebration at a time when the world is still battling to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

This time, unlike others, the celebration will have to be in line with social distancing measures recommended by the authorities.
